This course has been designed to provide basic knowledge on land surveying and leveling techniques. The following subtopics will be covered during the course course.
Importance of surveying, definitions, basic measurements (distance and angle, different types of surveying techniques, error checking and calibrations; Principles of leveling, importance definitions, importance in leveling in agriculture, data recording, error checking, methods of direct leveling, sources of error in leveling, etc.
