The course “Wetland resources management” is
designed to make students aware about the importance of wetlands resources,
understand wetland soils and environment, and comprehend on their conservation
and management. The course is developed for students to identify specific
features of wetland soils and other important components, related to different
types of wetlands; different adaptations exist in wetlands; how wetland soils
differ from other soil types; and the importance of wetlands and wetland soils
in nature; conservation and management strategies; fundamental concepts of
wetland restoration.
