Smart Farming is a blended result of implementation of digitalization in the field of Agriculture. Digitalization introduced different efficient and more precise agricultural practices to the modern agriculture all the steps throughout the farm to fork. Remote Sensing, Image Processing, and the Data Modeling are the major areas the deploy in this area specially on with the Smart phones. Smart phone application enables to take your farm to your fingertips by destroying all the geographical barriers. In absence of Smart Framing concepts some modern green concepts such as on demand irrigation and fertilizer, and weedicide applications and real time farm monitoring may not become realistic. The main objective of this module is to provide basic knowledge on Smart Farming and explore the modern trends and developments in the field of Smart Farming.
Career Development (CC3203) is a 2 credit course offered in the third year second semester. This is a compulsory course for the third year students in BSc Hons in Green Technology degree program and elective course for the third year students in BSc Hons in Agribusiness Management degree program. This module develops skills of undergraduates to identify personality development issues, self-planning, organizing and directing toward successful career and personal life.
